We spent last week at school in the studio collaborating with the Graphic Design students. It was a fabulous opportunity to simulate the graphic designer-photographer client relationship; the designers had a triptych poster and a cookbook cover and recipe page they had to create and needed images for. I’ll post more about the results when the designers have finished their layouts, but for now, I’ll just say that it was a great experience and I’m so glad to be at a school that facilitates and encourages teamwork between its programs like this.
There are many more photographers than graphic designers currently enrolled, so we had some down time when we weren’t working with our designer counterparts. In that down time I did this:
